Our tours are organized for adventurous travelers who are interested in learning about the culture of Rajasthan and want to experience of its diversity first hand.

Become acquainted with Rajasthan in a small group on a two-week tour that focuses on the Thar Desert. The modest size of the group enables you to view the non-touristed side of the Rajasthan, you can experience life there in its full reality. Our travel route of 1000 kilometers leads you on back roads by villages, cities, temples, palaces, abandoned fortresses animals of the wilderness and through the Thar Desert.
 
 

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 You will be greeted at the airport in Delhi and driven to the hotel.
Day 2 After breakfast, Three hours of sightseeing in Delhi. Evening departure on the night train (1st class) to Jodhpur.
Day 3 Morning tour of the Mehrangarh Fortress in Jodhpur. A serpentine street leads you to the fortress. Within its walls lies a museum. After lunch we will leave Jodhpur and begin the interesting journey to the desert camp. (Bhikodai). There we will be received by the friendly inhabitants of the desert. We will dine together with music and dance by the bonfire.
Day 4 -Day 8 For the next few days, we will travel further into the Thar Desert on comfortably saddled camels. There is the option, however, of staying in the camp and riding out daily as it pleases you. In any case, you can become acquainted with the unspoiled daily life of the desert people. The distance, the light, the sunrises and sunsets in the desert create an atmosphere you wonít be inclined to forget. You will enjoy the traditional music of the camel drivers, played on a variety of instruments. We will sleep under the stars (warm sleeping bag recommended).
Day 9 - Day 10 We start towards Jaisalmer where we will spend two days. Here you will have two pleasant, relaxing days to wander alone, or if you like, with an authorized guide through this fantastic city.
Day 11 On the way to Jodhpur we will go through several villages. Arrival late in the evening. Lodging in the Jhalamad Castle Hotel (or comparable hotel).
Day 12 After breakfast we will travel to a remote village (Osian), where we will visit several temples. Late in the evening, we will leave Jodhpur in the train (1st class).
Day 13 Morning arrival in Delhi, a city of many faces. We will pay a visit to the Red Fortress, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid and Humayunís Tomb (considered to be the fore runner of the Taj Mahal).
Day 14 We bid you farewell at the airport.

Highlights: Feb.17-19  Desert festival in Jaisalmer celebration of 850 year old culture, music, dance, camel races, and camel safari.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - You will be greeted at the airport in Delhi and driven to Hotel.
Day 2 - After breakfast, Three hours of sightseeing in Dehli. Evening departure towards Siliserh. We will spend the night in an idyllic summer palace on the shore of a lake in the Aravalli Mountains.
Day 3 - Early morning we will visit the National Park which is populated with wild animals. Midday departure for Bharatpur. Arrive in the evening accommodations at an RTDC Hotel.
Day 4 - Visit Keoladeo National Park, refuge to 350 species of birds among them a number of water fowl, with a boat ride throughout it's green swamps.
Day 5 - Early morning departure towards Sawaimodhopur on the way visit the famous Taj Mahal Lodging in RTDC Hotel.
Day 6 - Visit Ranthambor Wildlife Sanctuary. Full Day Trip.
Day 7 - After lunch we will start towards Jaipur.Accommodation at RTDC Hotel.
Day 8 - Journey through the Rose Red City of Jaipur, visit the famous Palace of Winds and take an elephant ride to the Amber Fortress. Early evening we will take the first class train to Jaisalmer.
Day 9 - Early arrival in Jaisalmer. Accommodation in a middle class Hotel. Guided tour of the Golden City. View the sunset from Lake Gadisar.
Day 10-12 - Departure for basecamp. We will trek by camel into the giant sand dunes of the Thar Desert and catch glimpses of the wildlife.
There is also a great opportunity to come in close contact with the people living here. To view a lifestyle unchanged by the passing
centuries.
Day 13 - Depart for Jodhpur to catch the first class train to Delhi.
Day 14 - Early morning arrival in Delhi. Half day sightseeing. We will see you off at the airport.
